The Native American Jewelry business has had its origin in the mid 1800s. During this period personal Jewelry was in the forefront. People were found to be wearing beaded clothing of bright colors with feathers. The growth of a thriving cottage industry took priority. Many Mexican and Spanish silversmiths came to teach the trade.
